What’s goin’ on.

I really need to sit down and write a real post. But, since I’ve graduated, I’ve been making the most of my working only 20 hours a week- I’ve been hanging out with my friends, playing some video games that I didn’t get around to before, and over the past week I finished the book I started right before finals, Red Rabbit, then finished two books that my grandfather lent me - Dean and Me and Never Have your Dog Stuffed, and today I started another book - Betrayal. So yeah, a lot of my time has gone to reading. Starting a book right before finals wasn’t a smart idea, but at least I had something to do to pass the time while I was waiting for the images for my one of my final projects to render over at ACCAD. I finished my time at OSU in true college fashion- not sleeping very much and eating pizza at rediculous hours. I took off from work on the friday before finals, and the monday of finals week. Friday after my last class (German) I spent all day at ACCAD. I went home, thinking I’ll finish up that project over the weekend, and hung out with my friends a bit before turning in early. I woke up saturday and headed back to ACCAD, and didn’t leave there until 8:00 sunday morning. I came home, slept for 8 hours, and headed back to ACCAD. I finished the project around 5:30-6:00 in the morning, so I went out, got a pizza, went home, ate the pizza, took a shower, studied a bit for my german final and then headed out to take it. I took the german final (I got a B+ on the final, and in the class), and then rushed over to west campus (where ACCAD is), and presented my final project there. Then, I had lunch, and went to the oval to lie down and read Red Rabbit for the hour or so that I had until my group was meeting for my video game design class. I ended up leaving ACCAD at around 12:30 that night, went home and slept through work the next day. But that’s alright, because after meeting yet again for my video game design class (this was how it was all quarter- I pretty much spent all my time working on that game), I headed off to work to do the stuff that I told them I’d do that day. So I went home, it was only around 11:00 this time, and got a normal night’s rest. The next day we presented our video game, and I’m really happy with the way it turned out.

I also finished college with a bang- This last quarter brought my cumulative GPA up to it’s highest point ever, 2.60, which isn’t saying very much but then again two years ago, before I changed into a major that I liked, it was as low as 2.17. I got a B+ in German, and an A in both my other classes for my record-highest quarter GPA of 3.76. W00t!

I’ve started looking for jobs, mainly around campus, though there are some openings at Pixar and Epic Games that I’m going to apply for, but don’t think I’ll get. If I get a job on campus, which I think it pretty likely at this point, then I’ll probably take some courses for grad school- if they’ll accept me, that is.  I applied for one last saturday, and I’m going to apply for another as soon as I get done with this post.  For the Pixar and Epic Games jobs, I’m waiting for some time when I can sit down and write a good cover letter before I apply.
Wow, I guess that turned into a full post. Cool.

This just in- I’ve graduated!  Hopefully I’ll write more later, but right now I’ve got to go!
