Bad Astronomy

Sunday, February 5th, 2006

For the last three years or so, I’ve subscribed to a newsletter sent out by Phil Plait, of the site www.badastronomy.com, which debunks a lot of myths having to do with astronomy (such as the myth that the moon landing was faked). Recently, he’s switched over from sending out a news letter to writing a blog, and there is an article on there now that I think everbody should read.

That’s it for now.

Spankin’

Wednesday, February 1st, 2006

…as in, “Brand Spankin’ New”. The last post was REALLY long so I’ll try a different tactic this time. Just to keep you on your toes. I like to do that. You’ll never guess how long my next post will be- if you said medium-length then you are so totally wrong.
…Anywho, I just upgraded the site to Wordpress 2.01. Lemme know if anything is broken (especially my custom pictures thing). The site should load faster now, on account of ’cause it’s cached. Fun Fact for February: Did you know that PHP, mein leiblingsscriptinglanguage, originally stood for Personal Home Page?  Now it’s used all over the web- even on real websites.  Huzzah!
